About the event

DC Fintech Week started in 2017 with a simple aim: to open up information and let everyone, from nonprofits and technologists to entrepreneurs and regulators, take part free of charge in a serious conversation about fintech and where finance is going. Every day and every panel draws leading figures to Washington DC for debates across the fintech landscape, including crowdfunding, online lending, cryptocurrencies, cybersecurity, Generative AI and open banking. The organisers note that it is one of the few panels open to the public where senior officials from across government can talk collectively with experts from different fields, countries and subjects.

Highlights

• Policy: keynote sessions, thematic working groups and curated deep dives at venues such as Amazon HQ2 and the National Union Building in Washington, DC
• Network: hundreds of central bankers, start-up founders, VCs and academics working on regulation, digital assets, inclusion and responsible finance, within a cross-sector global network
