About the event
Presented by a16z, Tech Week 2025 gathers leading founders, funds and companies from around the world. The LA and SF weeks run from 6 to 19 October.
Highlights
- Citywide festival: NYC Tech Week, presented by a16z, runs from 2 to 8 June with more than 1,000 decentralised events, among them community meetups, investor dinners, demo days and panels, held in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and other major hubs
- Emerging technologies: more than half of the events are about AI and robotics, with showcases such as the RUKA robotic hand from NYU. Tech Week gives hands-on contact with embodied physical AI, climate tech, fintech, machine learning and generative AI
- Networking and community: curated gatherings bring VCs such as a16z and Union Square Ventures together with founders, engineers and policymakers. Formats range from investor socials and rooftop parties to start-up demos, in an open-access setting designed for lasting relationships
