About the event

UN:BLOCK 2026 in Riga looks at new trends in fintech and blockchain, with the aim of connecting attendees with innovators from around the world and building long-term partnerships that shape crypto and digital finance in Europe.

The conference is backed by sponsors from traditional industries as well as blockchain and cryptocurrency, described as being at the forefront of innovation in digital finance. Attendees can meet representatives of crypto exchanges, blockchain firms, fintech start-ups and long-established traditional companies that are moving into digital assets.

Highlights

  • Attendees: more than 2,200 builders, regulators, investors and founders in one place for two days in Riga, at what is billed as Northern Europe’s largest meeting of fintech and blockchain professionals
  • Speakers: 100 of them, with “zero filler” promised, including speakers from Mastercard, Kraken and World Liberty Financial, as well as Latvia’s Minister of Economics. They are presented as people who influence policy and product development in Europe’s digital finance sector
  • Companies: 400 in a single venue, which the organisers describe as the densest concentration of decision-makers from fintech and Web3 in the region
  • Countries: 40 represented. The organisers present the event as the meeting point between the European market and the blockchain industry worldwide, with discussions on MiCA, digital assets and cross-border payments
  • Two stages: one for blockchain innovation, the other for fintech and traditional banking, with curated tracks intended to make every session relevant
