About the event

This year’s theme asks attendees to take stock of the past, deal with the present and shape what comes next. It is about using the moment to steer the course of AI and society: winning back time for purpose, connection and creativity through technology, and protecting the collective future from risks that could undermine it. The theme calls for urgency and optimism, so that progress draws on the lessons of history as well as on imagination.

World Summit AI is described as the epicentre of the global conversation and transformation around AI. Once again it hosts innovators, visionaries and what it calls the world’s leading AI minds, who together will help define the legacy of AI for decades to come.

Tracks

  • Frontier AI (new): pushes the limits of what AI can do while tackling the hardest problems in the real world, bringing together world-class AI research and in-depth industry knowledge
  • Collaborative Intelligence (new): looks at a period in which people and AI create the future together, reshaping economies, work and the very idea of being human. Sessions cover how AI is rewiring thinking, trust and identity, the powerful new opportunities it opens up, and the bold questions it raises about interaction between humans and machines and what they could achieve together
  • Physical AI (new): AI is no longer only digital, as it now moves, senses and acts in the real world. The track examines what happens when intelligence has a body, covering autonomous systems and robotics, edge computing, defence, factories and AI-driven logistics, with in-depth sessions on how AI is changing physical environments and industries
  • Intelligent Learning (new): AI is changing how people learn and acquire new skills, so that education adapts better to learners and is easier to access for today’s workforce. The track covers intelligent learning systems, workforce development and the ways technology is changing skills, opportunities and the nature of work
  • Moonshot Mothership: the role of exponential innovation, curiosity and imagination in reshaping how we live, with visionaries described as radically ambitious who build what the organisers call world-defining AI applications at breakneck speed
  • Technical Deep Dives: leading figures from industry and academia explain major advances, covering natural language processing, evolutionary computation and neural networks, and innovations that are about to leave the lab for real-world use and change how people live, work and play
  • Accelerating AI Adoption: real-world use cases that show AI changing enterprises from the inside, with the practical detail of how it raises productivity and delivers efficiencies at scale, as well as the leadership skills needed to make it happen
  • Innovation Insights: agile technologists, chosen by the editors, who innovate quickly and build completely new models for how AI is applied
  • Start Ups, Scale Ups & Unicorns: the uneven path from early-stage start-up to fast-growing scale-up and beyond, told by founders with hard-won experience, investors with a Midas touch and experts who have seen it all, with a look at what drives sustainable growth and success
  • Money AI: leading figures from AI-driven fintech start-ups, tech giants and global banks on what artificial intelligence means for security, crypto and finance, from customer experience and faster credit decisions to fraud prevention and compliance, setting the stage for a new era in money
  • AI for Humanity: real projects in which AI, together with remarkable people, takes on inequality, climate change and poverty, gives healthcare a major boost and works for the greater good worldwide
  • Responsible AI & Governance: as AI becomes more embedded in daily life, it raises urgent questions about trust, equity and agency. Starting from the principle that some things that could be built should not be, the track asks what responsible development looks like in technical, ethical and political terms, and how to shape a future that works for everyone
  • Start-up Showcase: five start-ups, described as among the hottest and picked through a competitive application process, pitch to an expert panel of investors and VCs, in search of the company that is changing AI and could become the next unicorn
  • Workshops: hands-on sessions that range from starting an AI experiment to putting machine learning models to work and drawing insight from data
