About the event

SALT and Kraken are the hosts of this second annual Wyoming Blockchain Symposium, and the University of Wyoming Center for Blockchain and Digital Innovation supports it. The 350-person event brings policymakers, entrepreneurs and investors described as leading figures in the digital assets ecosystem together for networking and focused discussion.

Highlights

• Policy and regulation: top policymakers, among them state leaders and U.S. Senators, meet blockchain innovators and institutional investors at a gathering capped at around 350 attendees, with the aim of encouraging forward-thinking regulation of digital assets
• Decentralised finance: key themes include decentralising the global financial system, greater use of blockchain infrastructure by institutions, and Bitcoin’s utility and the structure of financial markets
• Networking and off-site experiences: meetings with “builders, allocators, and asset managers”, described as elite, in a focused setting. Excursions in the Tetons, evening programming and curated content sessions are all meant to encourage collaboration where digital finance and policy meet
